[Initially Bucky doesn't even realize Scott has arrived until he's back to normal. It takes him by surprise, and for a moment he's fully ready to push himself up so he can fight against whatever new threat has found him in his hiding spot, but it's Scott. It's Scott, and Bucky's body just sags against his spot against the cement wall he's sitting against. Finding some abandoned warehouse to wait for the serum to kick in and heal him had left him exhausted after his fight, and he sure as hell looks the part.
It's a weakness, though, and as such he wants to hide it when he has company, but Scott is helping him before he can say anything. It's not even like he can, considering he can barely breathe, but he almost recoils at the sight of the needle. Not because he's afraid of it, but there's a memory that burns then, of experiments and needles and tests, and--
And he can breathe. It almost comes like a gasp, oxygen rushing into his lungs like a painful wave that makes his metallic hand unconsciously reach over for Scott's shoulder as if to steady himself.]
